I was a huge fan of Command and Conquer Generals and think its one of the best RTS games out there.
in it, all US aircraft are almost involnerable to missile attacks because of the countermeasures upgrades. taking out the enemy base defenses is what the stealth fighters are for. Works great if you can take out the US or China's power plants. Also, a fun strategy I've learned against the computer is to deploy a rebel ambush inside the enemy base, capture key buildings, and watch the enemy destroy its own base. GLA: The Angry Mob (armed w/AK-47's) kicks all kinds of ass against just about everything except base defenses. They'll be absolutely indestructable and can take anything the enemies dish out (except WMD's) Stealth Fighters aren't quite as good as in Zero Hour, but if you can take out the enemy's anti-air first, they'll raise all kinds of hell.Ĭhina: Get a group of Overlords together, attach a propaganda tower to one, and gattling cannons to all the others. If you're going up against the GLA, send in a few teams of Scouts (snipers) to pin down the Stinger sites, and they'll be helpless when the choppers arrive.
